we dont have a full static yet so we dont have a tank and the tanks we get most of the time are Pld and they are all dull to me as they never try to self cure so the Whm runs out i take over curing when he rests, i run out of MP so i convert Cure IVx2 myself and continue curing. Man, Plds should be great at hate control. You've been getting some bad Plds then. I semi-SP with a pld on my server now, I never pull hate and I can drop a few Cure IV bombs and The Mob never bats an eye.

Dark is generally worthless to a Rdm, I think mine still under the 125 range. The only things I ever seem to really cap off now-a-days is my Enfeebling Skill, my Enhancings not far behind, My Elemental is Sub Par but its above Dark at least =P

i was told to Dia II for Nin tanks and Bio II for Pld tanks.... and they want me to lvl all magic powers up for maat in 8 lvls

I Dia II everything, no matter what tank I have they've always Requested the use of Dia over Bio,,,,which is fine since my Enfeebling will always be greater than my Dark Magic Skill.

Well, you should really use your judgement, but to be honest, in most regular EXP situations, Dia II is always going to be more beneficial than Bio II.

Well its been along time since Ive had any Enfeeble Requests, I just go with what I feel is bbetter way to go. I see it as the lower the Def the more damage is done, the faster it dies.

Bio only really benefits the Tank while Dia benefits everyone in melee. Plus I just like it more.

And that's the logic, yeah. Dia helps the entire party kill faster, increasing exp, chains, and saving MP. Bio only helps the tank and the healers by extension of that.

Unless your PLD tank sucks, they'll want Dia II and not Bio II. Bio II (and eventually Bio III at level 75) are for those times when you're fighting things that hit so hard that it puts your tanks in danger, or when fighting things that have ungodly amounts of physical defense, such as Aspidochelone. Oh, and PLDs who don't self-cure don't deserve a party slot. Period.

- If your -enmity ratings and gear suck, why on earth are you Converting mid-battle? Stretch your MP until the end of a fight and Convert afterwards (i.e. do it before you get on the next monster's hate list).

- More importantly, why are you casting Cure IV twice? Totally unnecessary. Cast Cure IV and just drop Regen on yourself a few times. You've got 10 minutes before Convert comes back up, that's plenty of time to get your HP back up, and Regen is leaps and bounds more efficient than Cure IV. I'd hate to see what you'd do with Convert if your race was Galka...

- If your -enmity ratings and gear suck, why on earth are you Converting mid-battle? Stretch your MP until the end of a fight and Convert afterwards (i.e. do it before you get on the next monster's hate list).

I convert mid batle with a Nin tank and had no problem, i dont get hit after converting and the reason i use 2 Cure IVs is becouse after i convert i'm back to main healing when the Whm rests

The Pld I PT with is awesome, I dont own any -Emnity equipment{Still having trouble earning gil T_T} and I can Convert Mid battle and not ever have to worry about pulling hate. Half the time I just go about my normal Casting throw on a Regen to save on MP usage, and I have no worries.

Ive had a few Whms freak out and drop a few Cure IV Bombs on me, but I usually stop at the point where my HP is a bit higher than my MP for Convert, no need to waste all that MP to heal HP thats just gonna disapear when I need to Convert again anyways.

Eh.. I partied almost exclusively with NIN tanks on RDM from level 55+. I still got hit once in a while after Converting mid-battle, evne with fantastic NIN tanks. It happens, particularly in situations where you're Converting because you've spent extra MP controlling a link with Sleep II and need to be prepared in case it wakes up early.

As for main healing, you shouldn't ever need to be main healing with a WHM in a party. If you do, the WHM doesn't know what they're doing, or you're fighting things that are way out of your league (IT+++) and you need to fight something easier that isn't draining your MP like a sponge.

Lastly, last time I checked, the potency of Cure spells doesn't increase when your HPs are full. Stop being such a crybaby and work on your own gameplay skills before you go whining about PLDs that won't cure.
